The steps of a good man is ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in His way .Psalm 37:23
Mark the perfect man and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace Psalm 37:37
It is with sincere, heartfelt sympathy and love that we, the members of the CC Spaulding Alumni Association, Inc. of Spring Hope North Carolina, do solemnly acknowledge the passing of our loyal, faithful and dedicated member, Mr. Gary Newkirk. We hope this expression of bereavement will bring each of you some comfort and a measure of joy in the midst of your sorrow.
Whereas, Mr. Gary Newkirk was a 1962 CC Spaulding High School graduate in Spring Hope, North Carolina who supported the organization in word and deed. He cherished “Keeping the Spaulding Spirit Alive”. Gary served as the Chairman, C.C. Spaulding Alumni Association Board of Directors Inc. with talent, wisdom, and love for several years.
Let it be resolved: This timely act of God to summon Mr. Gary Newkirk to his eternal home on Thursday, June 27, 2019 has left a void in the heart of the members of CC Spaulding Alumni Association, Inc. We have fond memories of him that we will cherish as we go forth with our endeavors.
Whereas, Mr. Gary Newkirk may be removed from this earth but what he has done for others remains and is immortal.

Furthermore, let it be resolved that it is time for CC Spaulding Alumni Association to say goodbye to Mr. Gary Newkirk and to ask God to continue to protect and heal the broken hearts of the family.
Life is but a Stopping Place

Life is but a stopping place
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity
We all have different journeys.
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow
And when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord
