Scholarship Committee Recipients 2020-2021 and 2021-2022

Dear fellow Alumni Members,

We, the members of the C.C. Spaulding Scholarship Committee are proud to announce the following awards of scholarships based on our careful consideration and after examinations of the following applications for scholarship.  We had eleven graduating students to apply for scholarships this year and last year total.  Many thanks, to the students for aspiring to go on to achieve higher levels of education. The following recommendations were approved by the C.C. Spaulding Alumni Association, Inc. assembly.

Mr. Christian Peace attends East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and major in Public Health. He received a score of 97.

Ms. Brianna Taylor attends University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will major in Clinical Laboratory Science.  She received a score of 96.

Ms. K’Shayla Richardson attends University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will major in nursing.  He received a score of 96.

Ms. Emani Foster attends University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  She will major in Pre- Health.  She received a score of 98.5.                                                                                    
          
Ms. Ashley Pulley attends North Carolina State University in Raleigh to major in Mass Communications.  She received a score of 98.

Ms. Tristian Foster attends college to major in nursing.  She received a score 97.7.

Ms. Kacey Cooper attends NC State University to major in social and community Psychology.  She received a score of 97.

These seven applicants will receive scholarship amounts of $1000.00 each.  All these applicants maintained very high GPA’s upon graduation.

Ms. Ivory McNeal attends a four- year university to become a physical therapist. She received a score of 87.5.

Mr. Emanuel Jones attends North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro to major in Computer Science.  He received a score of 82. 

We ask that these two applicants receive scholarship amounts of $900.00 each.  All these applicants maintained very high GPA’s upon graduation.

2021-2022 Scholarship applicant is Ms. Brooke Lucas. She attends North Carolina University at Chapel Hill to major in Exercise and Sports Science.   She scored a 98.5.

 We ask that she receive scholarship amount of $1000.00.  She maintained a very high GPA upon graduation.

Total Scholarship funds requested:  $9800.00 for 2020-2021 recipients and 2021-2022 recipients.
